Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Sheffield Banners, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before submitting your artwork or confirming your order.

1. Accepted File Formats

We accept artwork in the following formats:
PDF, PSD, AI, PNG, EPS, CDR, TIFF, and JPEG.

  • All artwork must be at 300 DPI resolution or higher to ensure sharp, high-quality prints.

  • Include a 2-inch bleed on all sides to avoid trimming issues.

2. Print-Ready Files & Proof Approval

Once we receive your artwork:

  • We’ll convert it into a print-ready format and check for resolution or layout defects.

  • Pantone colours are not supported. Files are printed in CMYK, and slight colour shifts may occur.

  • If no errors are found, your file may be sent straight to print to avoid delays.

  • Otherwise, you’ll receive a digital proof for final review.

It’s your responsibility to check for:

  • Colour accuracy

  • Spelling

  • Layout and placement

Approval via email is required before printing.
Any approvals received after 1:00 PM will be actioned the next working day, which may impact your turnaround time.

Note: A 10–15% colour variance is considered acceptable due to monitor and printer differences.

3. Product Quality & Finishing Standards

We use high-resolution, large-format digital printers, best viewed from a distance of 2 metres or more. These prints are not intended for ultra-close photographic quality.

  • Size Tolerance: A small variation of up to 3–4 cm may occur due to trimming.

  • Banner Assembly:

    • Banners under 10ft tall are printed as a single piece.

    • Larger banners may be joined with seamless, reinforced overlaps.

    • Banners under 60 sq. ft. may incur hemming fees.

4. Delivery & Packaging

Orders are shipped within 5–6 working days from artwork approval (not payment date).
Please allow additional time for your event.

Packaging notes:

  • Banners larger than 110cm x 110cm will be folded, which may cause creases or slight discolouration. These are not classed as faults.

  • To avoid folding, select the “Rolled on Tube” option at checkout. This may incur an extra charge and add 1 working day to delivery.

5. Express Printing Options

Need it fast? We offer:

  • Same-day

  • 24-hour

  • 48-hour

  • 72-hour turnaround options

Important:
Orders must be confirmed and approved before 1:00 PM to meet express deadlines.
Late confirmations may incur a 50% surcharge for priority processing.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the customised nature of our products, returns are only accepted under strict conditions.

We accept returns for:

  • Major print quality issues

  • Incorrect sizes or products

  • Missing finishings (eyelets, hems, pole pockets)

How to report an issue:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Email support@sheffieldbanners.co.uk with:

    • Your order number

    • Photos taken from 2 metres away clearly showing the issue

Note:

  • We do not accept returns for colour shifts within 10–15%, courier delays, spelling/layout issues in approved artwork, or buyer’s remorse.

  • Returns must be authorised in writing by our team before sending items back.

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

7. Fraud Prevention

All banners are photographed and weighed before dispatch.

Fraudulent claims or chargebacks will be met with legal action.
Sheffield Banners reserves the right to recover legal and admin costs related to fraudulent returns or disputes.

8. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, and layouts created by Sheffield Banners remain our intellectual property.

  • We may use final product photos for marketing purposes unless instructed otherwise.

  • If a refund is issued after artwork approval, a 50% design fee will be deducted.

9. Disputes & Liability

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the total value of your order.

  • Disputes raised via PayPal, credit card, or payment providers will follow their resolution process.
    Their final decision will be accepted as binding.

  • Documentation will be provided as needed to support our case.

10. Privacy & Communications

By placing an order, you agree to our Privacy Policy and accept that:

  • You may receive order updates, promotional emails, and service announcements.

  • You can unsubscribe anytime by contacting sheffieldbanners@gmail.com.

11. Use of Phone Numbers & Consent for WhatsApp & SMS Updates

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive:

  • Order status updates via SMS or WhatsApp

  • Occasional service-related communications

You can opt out at any time by contacting us.

12. Others

  • Our liability is always limited to the order total.

  • Any chargebacks or disputes raised with third-party merchants (e.g., PayPal) will be treated as final and unchallengeable.

  • By accepting these terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy and consent to be added to our email newsletter.
